Energy & Enthusiasm in Local Issues
My wife and I have lived in Pebworth since 1993 with our 2 sons and 1 daughter.
I was first elected as a Wychavon District Councillor for Honeybourne & Pebworth in May 2011, and re-elected in May 2015. I was also elected as a Worcestershire County Councillor for the Littletons Division in May 2013 & May 2017. In all 4 elections I used the slogan “Energy & Enthusiasm in Local Issues”. Hopefully I have lived up to this and everybody in the villages I cover can see I have been active, and have achieved some major improvements including :

- Superfast Broadband is now in Honeybourne, Badsey, Bretforton, Offenham, North & Middle Littleton, South Littleton, Cleeve Prior, Aldington and in Pebworth. Recently FTTP (Fibre To The Premises) has been installed in Broad Marston & Ullington which gives incredible speeds of 100Mb/s
- New £1m village hall built in Honeybourne, and major refurbishment of Pebworth village hall
- Major flood alleviation schemes built for central Pebworth, and several significant drainage schemes across the area.
- Where new houses have been built in Pebworth & Honeybourne, I have tried to make sure the look of the new houses are in keeping with existing houses in the village
- Speeding enforcement - Mobile Speed Cameras now regularly in our area enforcing the speed limits in our villages
- Traffic calming agreed for Honeybourne, and new 40mph speed limit through Bickmarsh
- Improvement to pavements and roads in in all villages
- Helped the community organisation that rely on volunteers with various grants including the Cubs, Scouts, Sea Cadets, football /cycling/cricket clubs, allotments, British Legion, Freedom Day Centre, WI, etc
